Mrs. Asia USA
Niza Oun-Nguyen is the first Cambodian delegate to win the crown in the pageant's history.
Niza is a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA) who currently serves by day as a Vice President and Wealth Manager at BNY Mellon Wealth Management in Newport Beach, where she manages assets for high-net-worth clients, endowments, and foundations. A financial professional for over 12 years, she filled roles at Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) and Canterbury Consulting after earning her bachelor's degree in International Studies-Economics from the University of California, San Diego. She later earned two Masters degrees from Pepperdine University - an MBA in Finance and a Master of Science degree in Entrepreneurship. She received her CPWA designation from the Investments & Wealth Institute through the Yale School of Management.
In addition to her professional role, she is a wife, mom of three young girls, and a “mompreneur” who founded the educational YouTube channel Aspire to Bee. Aspire to Bee raises awareness about careers among children through fun, kid-centric content. Through videos and blogs, Aspire to Bee helps young children and their parents identify their interests and envision a future in the world of work.
As part of the Aspire to Bee brand, Niza has written a children’s book that explores careers through a fun, rhyming narrative.
Recognizing that Cambodian-Americans are among the poorest populations in the U.S and with just 45 percent of Cambodian-Americans earning a high school diploma, Niza is committed to inspiring people like herself to overcome the odds through formal education and informal mentorship.
